I have been cooking in terracotta for a while (my tagine and a few oven cooking pans, but my new Piral sauce pans (this one and a larger version) have introduced me to a whole new world of cooking--cooking in terracotta on a stove top. Ideally I would be using gas, but with my diffusers I am now exploring new recipes and a new way of cooking. It's great for couscous dishes and more. Adds delightful flavours to foods. Thanks to Terra Allegra for great products and great service.
THIS IS THE SECOND PIRAL STOVETOP POT I HAVE PURCHASED.
MY HUSBAND CRACKED AND CHIPPED THE LID ON THE FIRST ONE UNTIL IT WAS NOT USEABLE.
THE POT DISTRIBUTES HEAT EVENLY, WHICH MAKES FOR EXCELLENT FLAVOR PENETRATION.
